Is the invoice generator really free?
Yes. Fill in the invoice and download the PDF without an account or a card. The PDF carries a small "Generated for free on aestro.app" line at the bottom.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Sign up only if you want to keep the invoice: Save it in Aestro brings it into a free workspace where you can track when it's paid and reuse your client and payment details next time.
Is my information stored anywhere?
Not by this page. The PDF is made in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to Aestro unless you choose Save it in Aestro and create an account.
Can I bill by the day, by the hour, or a flat fee?
Yes. Each line has a unit: Day, Hour, or Flat fee. Days and hours multiply by the rate; a flat fee is billed once.
What should a freelance invoice include?
Your name and contact details, the client's name, a unique invoice number, the invoice date, what you did, the amount for each item, the total, when it's due, and how to pay you. The freelance invoice guide walks through a full example.
Can I add sales tax or VAT?
Yes. Enter a percentage and it's added to the total as its own line. Check your local rules for what you need to charge and show.
