Freelance gear rental
Your own gear rental page, free.
Turn the kit you already own into rental income. List what you want to rent, share one link, and get rental requests with dates and items. Then build the job and the invoice from the same request.
A rental site without building a website.
Every Aestro user can turn on a public rental request page at their own link. It shows only the gear you choose to list.
- Renters pick dates and gearThey choose rental dates, browse all your gear or your prepared lists, and filter by category or search.
- Ready-made packagesPublish saved lists so a renter can start from your standard camera or lighting package and edit it.
- On your own siteAdd a Gear rentals widget to your website with the embed builder.
- One link to sharePut it in your bio, your email signature, or a reply to a producer.
Requests land in one inbox.
Each rental request arrives with the dates, the items, and the renter's details. Review it, reply, or decline with a reason. When you go ahead, build the job from the request: the gear goes on a project gear list, ready to bill.
Invoice the rental in a few taps.
The rental's gear list goes onto the invoice as an Equipment rental section, item by item with quantities, days, and rates, or as one flat gear rate. Add your own labor on the same invoice if you're working the job too.

Questions
How do I rent out my camera or production gear as a freelancer?
List the gear you want to rent with your day and week rates, share your rental request page, and handle requests as they come in. Aestro gives you the page, the request inbox, and the invoice in one place.
Is the rental page free?
Yes. Your public rental request page and the rental request inbox are part of Aestro's free plan.
What do renters see?
A rental request page with your listed gear, category and search filters, and your prepared lists. They choose rental dates, add items, and send a request with their details.
Can I choose which gear is public?
Yes. Each item has a List on public request page setting, and saved lists can be made public so renters can start from a ready-made package.
Can I put the rental page on my own website?
Yes. Aestro has an embed builder for a Gear rentals widget you can add to your site, in a dark or light theme.
Does Aestro take payments or hold deposits for rentals?
Aestro isn't a marketplace and doesn't take a cut. You agree terms with the renter and bill them on an Aestro invoice with your own payment details.
