Who provides Aestro
These terms are between you and Justin Marroquin, operating Aestro.
Using Aestro
Aestro is a production workspace for managing projects, contacts, gear rentals, quote requests, invoices, settings, and related records. Access is currently available through open beta signup, beta invite links, workspace member invites, or otherwise limited by the owner of the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Aestro.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without permission.
Your Content and Responsibilities
You are responsible for the workspace data, contact details, gear information, project notes, invoice details, quote records, files, exports, and other content you enter, import, publish, or share through Aestro.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to store and use that content in Aestro. You grant Aestro permission to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and format that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Aestro Pro Subscription
Aestro is free to use. Aestro Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds features such as sending, collecting payment on, and signing documents through Aestro. Pro applies to the whole workspace it is bought for.
Price and billing. The price, billing period, and any taxes are shown before you confirm the purchase. Pro is billed in advance for each billing period. There is no free trial unless one is offered to you at the time of purchase.
Automatic renewal. Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
Where you buy decides where you manage it.
- Bought in the iPhone app: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase and is handled by Apple. The subscription renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Bought on aestro.app: payment is processed by Stripe. Cancel any time on the web in Settings, then Pro, then Manage plan.
Cancelling. When you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, then ends. Except where the law or Apple's policies require otherwise, payments are not refunded and partial periods are not credited. Your workspace and records stay in your account after Pro ends; only the Pro features stop.
Free months and codes. Pro time from a gift, a redeem code, or an invite promotion has no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and ends on the date shown unless you start a paid subscription. We may end a promotion at any time without affecting Pro time already given.
Public Features
Workspace users may choose to publish public gear list pages, receive public quote requests, create contact-card links, or share exports and generated files. You are responsible for reviewing what you make public before sharing a link.
If you submit a quote request through a public gear list page, you authorize Aestro to send your request details to the workspace owner or authorized workspace users for follow-up about that project or rental request.
Generated Documents
Aestro can help generate invoices, rental summaries, gear list revisions, and rental agreement drafts. These outputs are productivity tools, not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing every document before using or sending it.
Financial Record Preparation
Aestro organizes user-entered transactions and supporting documents. It does not file returns, determine worker classification, calculate tax owed, establish deductions, or certify legal compliance. A savings target is a personal planning preference, not an estimated-tax installment. You must confirm dates, completeness, accounting method, jurisdiction and treatment against source records and obtain appropriate professional review before filing or making tax decisions.
Corrections retain original financial entries. Year-end snapshots preserve the records captured at creation and may contain unresolved items. Review the package and its document manifest; an export is not proof that your records are complete. Keep independent copies of source documents and filed returns for the periods required by applicable law.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Aestro to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malicious code, attack or probe the service, spam users, scrape private data, bypass access controls, misrepresent yourself, or publish private information without permission.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post, send, or share anything that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, including in profiles, gear lists, requests, messages, and shared projects. You can block anyone, and report content or a person, from the app or by writing to support@aestro.app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and may suspend or close the account of whoever posted it.
Copyright and Takedowns
Only upload photos, stills, logos, and other material you own or have permission to use. If you believe something on Aestro infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
- the material you want removed and where it is on Aestro, such as its page link;
- your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We may remove or disable access to the material and tell the person who posted it. If you posted material that was removed and believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send our agent a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where Aestro may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice. Unless that person tells us they've filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
We end the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Send copyright notices to support@aestro.app with "Copyright notice" in the subject line.
Third-Party Services
Aestro relies on Supabase and Vercel for authentication, storage, server routes, public pages, security delivery, and limited performance measurements, and on Stripe and Apple for Pro payments. The current provider list is on the Subprocessors page.
If You Got Aestro from the App Store
If you downloaded the Aestro iPhone app from Apple's App Store, these terms also serve as the license agreement for the app, and the following applies:
- These terms are between you and Aestro only, not Apple. Aestro, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- You may use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, of the app. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Aestro, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, and claims that the app or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to the app.
Privacy and Customer Data
The Privacy Policy explains how Aestro handles personal information and the Data Rights page explains available choices. When Aestro processes personal information in a customer workspace on that customer's behalf, the Data Processing Addendum is incorporated into these terms.
Changes, Availability, and Beta Status
Aestro is actively developed and may change, add, remove, limit, pause, or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment of a paid plan, or respond to misuse.
Disclaimers and Limits
Aestro is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and loss-free data storage.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aestro and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, production delays, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, withdrawal rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory rights that apply to consumers in the EEA or United Kingdom.
Governing Terms and Changes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Aestro is established, without overriding mandatory protections available where an individual consumer lives. Material changes will be dated here and communicated in the product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance, unless law requires a separate choice.
